No todo está perdido
CONOCIMOS A DOS PRECANDIDATOS a diputados, uno del Partido Movimiento Ciudadano, el MVZ Sergio Calva Morales y el otro del Partido Humanista, licenciado y periodista Ubaldo Jarillo.
Ambos son nuevos en estas lides y si se han animado a participar, aunque no tengan posibilidades de triunfo, es porque quieren poner su granito de arena para cambiar las cosas en este país, lo que habla de su amor por la tierra que los vio nacer y de su espíritu de servicio.
Como ellos debe haber muchos mexicanos en el país, dispuestos a trabajar, a poner el ejemplo de valor ciudadano, de sacrificio desinteresado. Saben lo difícil que es luchar contra la corriente; las dificultades que encontrarán en su lucha por la corrupción imperante en el medio político, pero están dispuestos a afrontar el reto, porque dicen, que si las personas con buenas intenciones no se deciden a participar, entonces este país irá de mal en peor. Si ya en Grecia triunfó la corriente que va contra el sistema económico que ha hundido a ese país y en España ha surgido una corriente que cada día se ve más fuerte y que persigue lo mismo que los griegos, en México también es posible.
EL DOCTOR CALVA MORALES, ES RECTOR de la Universidad Panamericana, que se fundó en Puebla hace más de 30 años y que ahora tiene campus en Tehuacán y en el estado de Morelos.
Afirma que para revertir la grave situación que se vive en México por la corrupción, por la delincuencia organizada y la criminalidad, por la crisis económica y por la falta de credibilidad de los ciudadanos en nuestras instituciones y en nuestros políticos, se requiere educación. Él le apuesta a la educación como la forma de cambiar las cosas en el país, deterioradas desde hace varias décadas por el afán desmedido de enriquecimiento, por la pérdida de valores entre los jóvenes y la consecuente inmoralidad en los sectores público y privado por la ambición de acaparar poder y riquezas, sin pensar en el país y en el futuro de nuestros hijos.
Su campaña, si es candidato del Movimiento Ciudadano para la diputación del distrito XII de esta capital, será modesta, porque los recursos de que dispone el partido y él en lo personal, lo son, pero piensa que con el apoyo de amigos podrá dejar por lo menos una huella importante entre la ciudadanía, para contribuir al cambio que el país requiere.
Ha recibido a lo largo de varios años, el ofrecimiento de ser candidato a diputado en cuatro ocasiones, pero hasta ahora se decidió a aceptar, porque el partido Movimiento Ciudadano, aceptó dejarlo actuar con libertad, sin consignas ni condicionamientos si llega a triunfar.
La Universidad Panamericana que fundó y dirige, ahora con tres campus, como ya dijimos, imparte 19 carreras, entre ellas la de Medicina Veterinaria, con la que se inició y fue la primera institución particular de enseñanza superior con esa carrera y la de artes cirquenses, que ya tiene dos generaciones de egresados, varios de ellos trabajando en circos de Europa.
UBALDO JARILLO, ES ABOGADO Y PERIODISTA. A través de la estación XETU, de Poza Rica, Veracruz, cubre con su programa una muy importante zona de la sierra norte de Puebla, de donde es originario.
Desde muy joven se hizo miembro del Partido Revolucionario Institucional del que fue operador político.
Estudió Derecho en la BUAP y ha sido defensor de grupos indígenas de la sierra en problemas.
Es políglota, además de español, habla náhuatl y totonaco, algo que le ha sido muy importante para establecer una estrecha comunicación de las comunidades de la sierra, donde opera.
Su posible candidatura, ha sido recibida con gran entusiasmo por los muchos amigos que tiene en la región de Zacatlán, distrito que aspira a representar.
Taxistas que le han ofrecido su apoyo para transportación, comerciantes que están dispuestos a colaborar con él y hasta un propietario de un negocio de pastelería, que ha puesto a su disposición en forma gratuita, un pastel diario para donarlo a quien él quiera.
Estos son los ciudadanos que con buenas intenciones, las de colaborar a cambiar lo que está mal en este país y la verdad es que hay muchas cosas que es necesario cambiar, se lanzan a una aventura, en la que tal vez no triunfen, pero su ejemplo quedará para los ciudadanos de buena voluntad, que desean contribuir a hacer de México, un país más justo, más honesto, donde su gente pueda vivir tranquila, sin sobresaltos y donde los niños y los jóvenes tengan futuro.
LOS DIAS SIETE Y OCHO DE ESTE MES, se llevará a cabo en la Colonia Sanctórum de Cuautlancingo, municipio conurbado con Puebla capital el Cuarto Encuentro Nacional Indígena Campesino y Popular, por la resistencia, los derechos y las autonomías.
Los tres encuentros anteriores se han realizado en San Cristóbal Las Casas, Chiapas; en Tetelcingo, municipio de Cuautla, Mor., y en Morelia, Michoacán.
Convocan a esta reunión el Movimiento Nacional del Poder Popular y el Consejo Democrático Magisterial Poblano.
El objetivo es tomar acuerdos para revertir las reformas neoliberales; abordar los temas de organización, gobierno, autonomías y poder popular; soberanía alimentaria, salud y desarrollo social sustentable; hablar sobre la represión, plataforma y plan de acción. Esto sería el día 7.
El día 8, habrá una reunión plenaria para dar a conocer las conclusiones; se leerá la declaración política del cuarto Encuentro Nacional y se clausurará el evento.
Se esperan representaciones de varios estados de la república y de diversas organizaciones nacionales que luchan por los graves problemas que confrontan las comunidades campesinas e indígenas del país.
