The Municipal Government through the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture of Puebla (IMACP) promote the integration of artists with disabilities by creating directories and issuing calls for them. The Sub-Directorate for Culture of Nonviolence and the Coordination of Arts and Disability, belonging to IMACP and unique in its kind nationwide, seek to bring artists with disabilities to various support programs, training and dissemination.
One of the main objectives is to empower these artists through a system which will cover quality standards, this system includes programs of artistic initiation, development through training and ongoing training, eventually being professional levels support the dissemination of the work in local, national and international levels.
To achieve the proposed objectives, establishes the Nuclear IMACP Creation Network for Artists with Disabilities «Everyone Network», which invites all artists in the city of Puebla and its Auxiliary Boards submit your details and CV to email redarteydiscapacidad@gmail.com mail or submit their documentation in 3 Norte # 3 Historical Center, information is received from February 19, 2015.
In parallel, the Call «DiverZo» Fine Arts Competition for Artists with Disabilities is launched.
