In order to strengthen bilateral relations between Puebla and Panama, Mayor Tony Gali held a working meeting with Ricardo Manuel Pérez González, Ambassador to Mexico of that country.
The Mayor explained that the meeting various opportunities for cooperation were discussed, especially in the economic, cultural and tourist areas.
In that sense, it recognized the vision of Governor Rafael Moreno Valle who recently announced the flight Puebla-Panama, starting next August for Copa Airlines, as a forceful action in connectivity.
He stressed that such flights not only propel Puebla as a major tourist destination with a wide choice but to host business summits, exhibitions, world congresses, among others, due to factors such as the level of security and geographic location.
Tony Gali stressed that exchanges will be favored with countries like Panama that are critical in relation to Central and South America during his tenure.
Meanwhile, Manuel Ricardo Perez held the willingness and openness of the mayor of Puebla to establish partnerships that translate into benefits for people in both places and a permanent bridge of solidarity.
Upon completion of the work table, Gali showed visitors the Royal Charter and the Real Provision well as the Historical Archives, as symbols of the vast cultural and historical legacy of Puebla.
The ceremony was also attended by Natalia Andrade, head of the International Relations Department of City Hall and Gabriel Navarro, Secretary of Urban Development and Sustainability.
