Conmemora CAIP Día Internacional del Derecho a Saber

Con la finalidad de conmemorar el Día Internacional del Derecho a Saber, la Comisión para el Acceso a la Información Pública y Protección de Datos Personales, signará  convenio de colaboración con la Secretaría de Educación Pública, además de ofrecer una conferencia magistral a cargo del Comisionado del IFAI, Ángel Trinidad Zaldívar.

De igual forma, y teniendo como sede la Universidad de las Américas Puebla, se tiene prevista la presentación del libro “Rumbos de la Transparencia en México”, del doctor Ricardo Uvalle Berrones, investigador de la UNAM

El Día Internacional del Derecho a Saber fue instituido en el año de 2002, fecha de la fundación de la Red de Activistas por la Libertad de Información (Freedom of Information Advocates Network , FOIA Network) en Sofía, Bulgaria en un encuentro internacional de organizaciones no gubernamentales encargadas de promover el acceso a la información. Esta red consta de 200 organizaciones que se encuentran en 75 países.

El objetivo de la celebración del Día Internacional del Derecho a Saber es fomentar el conocimiento entre todos los individuos,  sobre su derecho al acceso de información de las actuaciones y actividades del gobierno en sus diferentes niveles.

La firma de un convenio de colaboración con la Secretaría de Educación Pública pretende promover contenidos sobre transparencia, acceso a la información y protección de datos personales en el nivel básico de educación, con lo cual, se irá creando esta cultura de la legalidad y la transparencia entre los estudiantes.

La cita es el próximo viernes 28 de septiembre y es un evento abierto a todo el público en general.

The International Day for the Right to Know was instituted in the year 2002, the date of the founding of the Activists Network FOI (Freedom of Information Advocates Network, FOIA Network) in Sofia, Bulgaria at an international meeting of non-government responsible for promoting access to information. This network consists of 200 organizations in 75 countries found.

The objective of the International Day of RTK is to promote awareness among all individuals, of their right to access information from government actions and activities at different levels.

The signing of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education aims to promote content on transparency, access to information and protection of personal data in the basic level of education, which, it will create this culture of legality and transparency among students.

The event is Friday September 28 and is an event open to the general public.
