La mayor empresa constructora del país, ICA, busca hoy nuevas alianzas para la edificación del nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Ciudad de México (AICM), tras confirmar que el consorcio integrado junto a otras firmas se disolvió.
Alonso Quintana, director general de ICA, dijo a la publicación El Financiero, que «siempre hubo la intención de formar un consorcio grande porque venía la licitación completa, ahora parece que se va a ir dando por partes, ir formando alianzas para las diferentes partes que se vayan licitando».
El titular de Comunicaciones y Transportes, Gerardo Ruiz, ratificó que la construcción del nuevo aeropuerto continuará, porque es indispensable para el país, y señaló que la disolución del consorcio no impide a algunas de las empresas buscar participación por su cuenta en la licitación del proyecto.
También manifestó que seguramente habrá compañías de talla internacional «porque requerimos, especialmente en los proyectos clave, certeza y garantía de capacidad técnica».
Para este año se planificaba una inversión de 33 mil 936 millones de pesos (dos mil 266 millones 924 mil 800 dólares) en el nuevo AICM, pero en fecha reciente se informó que la cifra sólo será de 19 mil millones de pesos (mil 269 millones 200 mil dólares).
