La plataforma para la comunicación de arquitectura IAC con sede en Maracaibo – Venezuela y el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo del Zulia invitan a participar en el Festival de Arquitectura Contemporánea IAC2015 ha realizarse los días 18, 19 y 20 de febrero de 2015.
Desde el año 2008 es llevado a cabo el Seminario Internacional de Arquitectura IAC, en el cuál, hasta la fecha, han disertado más de 50 conferencistas de toda Iberoamérica, convirtiendo esta plataforma en una de más importantes y consolidadas en territorio Venezolano.
Para la edición 2015 con la experiencia acumulada en sus siete ediciones anteriores se plantea por primera indagar sobre otros formatos para la difusión y promoción de la arquitectura, la cultura y la ciudad, llevando a cabo el Festival de Arquitectura Contemporánea IAC el cuál albergará la inauguración de laExposición Obras y Proyectos en Iberoamérica, mostrando más de 50 trabajos entre los que destacan obras de Adamo & Faiden (Argentina), Marcio Kogan (Brasil), Langarita & Navarro (España), Alborde (Ecuador), Bernardo Gómez Pimienta (México), Giancarlo Mazzanti (Colombia), Frida Escobedo (México), Luciano Kruk (Argentina), Taller 301 (Colombia), Nerea Calvillo (España), Arquitetos Associados (Brasil), Hevía & Arzúa (Chile), PMKN (España), Mauricio Rocha & Gabriela Carrillo (México), Juan Manuel Pelaez (Colombia), Nitsche Arquitetos (Brasil), Nomena Arquitectos (Perú), Luis Aldrete (México), Grupo Aranea (España), 911SC (México), Manuel Cucurell (Argentina), Arquitectura Expandida (Colombia), Macias Peredo (México), entre otros invitados.

Durante el Festival de Arquitectura Contemporánea se llevará a cabo las proyecciones de los trabajos audiovisuales : La Ciudad Perfecta (Venezuela) de Ricardo Bombin, Ganador del Primer Premio en la categoría Videourbana de la Bienal Iberoaméricana de Arquitectura y Urbanismo CADIZ2012 , Euritmia (Colombia) de Juan Pablo Aschner y Enrico Mandirola, ganadora del primer lugar en el VIII Festival Internacional de Cine y Arquitectura de Estambul recientemente; Meeting at the Building (España) de los realizadores Carlota Coloma y Adriá LaHuerta, ganadora del primer premio al mejor cortometraje documental en el Festival de Cine y Arquitectura de Santiago de Chile; Casalata (Portugal) de la arquitecto Lara Placido, seleccionada en el festival de cine independiente de Mar de Plata, Cabo Verde International Film Festival, Slum Film Festival en Nairobi, entre otros; así como los proyectos Paulo Mendes Da Rocha – Galeria Vermelho (Brasil) y Elemental – Quinta Monroy Social Housing (Chile) de Felipe De Ferrari y Diego Grass fundadores de 0300TV y OnArchitecture, un archivo audiovisual con sede en Santiago de Chile.
En el marco de IAC2015 se llevará a cabo igualmente el espacio de conversación LA NOCHE PÚBLICA, espacio en el que cuatro presentadores expondrán su trabajo relacionado a la arquitectura, el diseño, las artes, la fotografía, la comunicación y la ciudad a través de un formato 20×20, 20 minutos y 20 diapositivas por presentador, a través de un formato intimo e informal, promoviendo una red social real entre los presentadores y el público asistente.
Para analizar este festival, se llevará a cabo un ciclo de conferencias orientado a la discusión sobre el acontecer actual de la arquitectura en Venezuela, y que contará con la participación de Franco Micucci, Alejandro Haiek, Ignacio Cardona, GlocalStudio, PRO-A, Daniel Belandria, AGA Estudio Creativo, Miguel Braceli, entre otros invitados ; construyendo un diálogo inter-generacional sobre la arquitectura Venezolana.

Under IAC2015 be held equally conversation space PUBLIC NIGHT, space in which four presenters will present their work related to architecture, design, art, photography, communication and the city through a format 20 × 20, 20 minutes and 20 slides per presenter, through an intimate and informal format, promoting a real social network between the presenters and the audience.
