In five years in NASCAR Mexico we broke records and we imposed brands that will be very difficult to overcome, we gave a great hobby and exciting victories, including three consecutive championships, among many other things that we as a team. I was fortunate to visit almost all the media of different places where we competed and supporting motorsports, promoting and advertising the brands that supported me and trusted me.
Today, more than ever, I see that every challenge can be overcome through hard work, effort, dedication and talent, I remember when I appointed «Quiroganar» as if it were yesterday and then was the driver to beat; this will leave that to the fans, the people who from the stands gives me strength. It’s not goodbye, it’s just a chapter in life and continue as always with great dedication and commitment to continue striving in this sport that we love so much.
I thank all the mechanics and engineers who were working with a single goal: to be the best, the numbers one … and we did it repeatedly. I just was a small cog in this complex machinery.
Not only I am left with the memories of Mexico, so that we in USA was spectacular. Today I’m the best-ranked Hispanic in history within a national category NASCAR, being in sixth place in the championship in 2014. I moved to Charlotte to work in a dream in 2012 and was a year away from the tracks to full start in 2013 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the first national divisions of NASCAR. There, with the support of NET10 Wireless and OtterBox I got to go slowly opening doors and imposing marks first pole position in Iowa, then a third, in Texas, and several top 10. With a year of experience had to be overcome expectations and with the support of all of you, fans, sponsors and family, we achieved two second places, several top 5, the best finish of the year in a NASCAR race in Canada, and finish the championship in sixth place.
As a Mexican I have worked and will continue working to always show a clean and honest image, in order to leave the door open to young people and future generations, leaving Mexico high.
