The Attorney General’s Office (PGJ) reports that through various investigations by the judicial police of the state, a few hours ago was able to locate and stop at the Centro neighborhood of the city of Puebla, Diego Alfonso López Jiménez, 23 age, alias «El Flaco» or «El Poncho» alleged member of a criminal gang linked to five murders of taxi drivers whose motive was robbery units.
On 28 September 2011 the PGJ 5 people arrested later, after several documented evidence against him were consigned to the Criminal Judge.
Luis Alfredo Meneses Montiel 20 years old, Luis Alfredo Sánchez 19 and Judith Giovanna Sanpedro Martinez 19, were admitted to the CERESO of San Miguel, on charges of murder, theft qualified and equated stolen vehicle and Gaspar Antonio Sánchez Lara 40 years old and José Angel Ramirez Montiel 31, for the crime of theft equated.
Continuing investigations into this criminal gang, the identity of another suspected accomplices who at the time was not arrested was obtained, however, overtime recent ministerial agents placed Diego Alfonso López Jiménez, who had arrest warrant so and was admitted to the Center of Social Reinsertion of San Miguel, on charges of murder, robbery and vehicle theft equated.
His modus operandi was to address workers and after subjecting the wheel violently to seize money, valuables and vehicle, deprived them of life leaving bodies in lonely places. Later units were dismantled in a garage located in the auxiliary board Resurrection, in order to market automotive parts in various parts of the city.
The Justice reaffirms its commitment to follow up on every one of investigations, in order to provide certainty to clarify citizenship wrongful acts.
