In August 2015 the BUAP will offer a new career: Degree in Financial Management, which will be taught in mixed mode, with classes, semiescolarizadas and distance, and will double degree supported by the Leading Academic in Puebla and the University of New Mexico, United States.
Maricela Reséndiz Ortega, coordinator of the curriculum, reported that this race, which will be given at the School of Accounting, «BUAP be the first public macrouniversidad that will offer this type of degree.»
Have an international focus, may be attended from 3.5 to 7 years. Because of the agreement with the University of New Mexico, teachers in England and China will be part of the academic panta. Internships may be made at international level, while social services nationwide.
Reséndiz Ortega said the basic level consists of 19 subjects, divided into 10 areas: University General Education, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Law, Foreign Language, Business Environment, General Education, Finance, Economics and Research. In the training level will be 21 compulsory subjects and eight areas: Integrative, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Law, Business Environment, Administration, Research and Electives.
As a requirement for admission, applicants must have an intermediate level of English, since in the curriculum materials are included in this language, as part of the Model Dual Training program.
In curriculum design participated the Directorate General of Higher Education Institution and two consultants of international stature: Francisco Javier Marmolejo Cervantes, coordinator of Higher Education in the World Bank, and Juan de Dios Pineda Guadarrama, international consultant and who obtained certificate in Japan as an international expert in public transport policies, accredited by The Japan International Cooperation Agency.
Graduates will perform in public, private, national and international level. Their working areas as manager, advisor or consultant are corporate, securities, and public financing and investment finance.
With the approval of this new degree, the BUAP demonstrates its commitment to improving educational coverage, coupled to provide more educational opportunities to young people.
