The Minister President of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Cordova, said the institution lives today a deficit of public credibility, October 7 when the blame registered parties acting on behalf of the ruling.
The seven parties that rose from the table of the General Council of INE announced yesterday they will not participate in committees or until further notice in the Committee on Radio and Television, which sesionó only three political organizations, according to media reports.
They will also submit an application to the Electoral Court of the Judiciary against the refusal -a six councilors who accused to follow the line of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), in the government, against the refusal to discuss two agreements on the use of resources public and social programs.
After the opening few tables of electoral districting, Córdova said «we are aware of public credibility deficit INE, which we need to reconstruct, acting under the law and making decisions.»
Proposed to open a dialogue with the seven political parties that left the session of the General Council as a sign of dissatisfaction, however, clarified, will not decide pipelines INE.
He told reporters that the INE does not disparage the approach of October 7 political parties, «but we can not automatically assume they are the ones to decide pipelines or decision of the Institute itself.»
He said that therein lies the independence and autonomy of the INE, not only with respect to other organs of government, but also the political parties themselves «.
These seven parties are the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), Labor (PT), from left; National Action Party (PAN), conservative; Citizens Movement, Social; Social encounters, political, and Humanist (PH), self-proclaimed participation.
Meanwhile, the three largest Mexican parties -PRI, PAN and PRD Eve began an exchange on the subject to try to solve this crisis of INE.
