San Andrés Cholula, Puebla.- Perform their professional practices in Chile, represented a watershed for Ruby Nayelli Rodríguez Martínez, student of Graphic Design, Art and Media, who recently returned from the South American country with a different professional perspective.
«At first I wanted to go to Spain but no company sent me answer, I was very stressed by time and then decided to look for other options. Was how I found this company from Chile, where I got a quick response and could make all the arrangements to go. »
Ruby was as an intern in the company Bullet dedicated to Marketing and Merchandising, there supported in editing and retouching, developed some proposals for websites, stationery, brochures, and more.
«My classmates treated me very well and my boss taught me a lot, for example, that vision of how to treat your employees and your customers, rather than as a student never learn.»
According to the student, this experience completely changed his perspective as a professional and now between his future plans is to open his own design office.
«In college, sometimes you think you want to devote to something, but when you practice and you realize that there are many more possibilities. I had to engage in certain areas of my career I did not like, and develop logos, and after realize it ended up liking. In situations how are you able to land where I want to go and my future plans. »
Ruby Nayelli considered that the program Exchanges Academic and Professional Practices UMAD is a fortress that students should take advantage of.
«The UMAD has very good contacts and if you do not have the attempts to find the list of places where you can go is quite extensive, in fact I saw that there is a competition for grants in Korea. I think the university (Madero) has been concerned about what their students can experience outside of Mexico, but also to be a place where you feel comfortable. »
Therefore recommended that all students to find the way to go for exchange or internship abroad.
«It’s not as difficult as it might seem, at first it is, but as you progress you’re stronger with each accomplishment. So worth it: you’re having fun, you know other environments, you learn a lot and greatly changes the way you see things. Being completely alone without your parents or friends, forces you to mature, to think that not everything can make easy and you have to work to achieve your goals; I appreciate all the support it gave me the Madero University, to live this experience. «
