Committed to society in emergency and disaster situations, Mexican Red Cross meets the February 21, 105 years of bringing humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the people.
Currently the institution is strengthened and consolidated in the pre-hospital care, training, prevention, support and assistance in disasters, restoring family links and applying for vulnerable groups humanitarian programs through their areas.
During 2014, the Meritorious Institution in the state, offered twenty-six thousand four hundred ninety ambulance services and provided more than two hundred and seven thousand and sixty-four medical services.
Mexican Red Cross is the largest humanitarian network in Mexico; in the State of Puebla has two thousand four hundred forty-one volunteers who work daily aiding society regardless of age, gender, economic status or religion. Its vocation is to serve those most in need without receiving anything in return.
The State Delegate Mexican Red Cross in Puebla, Ing. José Manuel Cervantes, congratulates and recognizes the work of volunteers and, since they are the backbone of the institution, and through his work can train, prevent and save more lives .
There are 22 offices in the State of Puebla, allowing it to expand its services in emergency care, always with that humanitarian dye that characterizes it.
Mexican Red Cross has 118 doctors and 122 nurses in the state.
The main challenges facing the institution is to remain the most reliable among society to deliver humanitarian aid; be at the forefront in technology, not only to optimize resources but reduce risks to disasters; train and constantly update their volunteers for emergencies, as well as provide training to society and focus on prevention.
Mexican Red Cross thanks all walks of support they have had with the institution throughout its 105 years of life, because thanks to it will continue to work with the sole aim of alleviating the suffering of people.
