Governor Rafael Moreno Valle and Mayor Tony Gali led the inauguration of the hydraulic concrete paving of the streets around the Ecological Park, whose investment was 13 million 105 thousand pesos for the benefit of over a million 539 thousand 800 people.
Moreno Valley reported that during 2015 over a billion dollars for infrastructure and building new parks and retrieval of existing ones, in order to provide more recreational areas will go to Puebla.
Additionally, he said, an ambitious program among state and municipality, will be undertaken through circuits linking strategic roads have been paved with cement concrete to strengthen connectivity in the metropolis.
He stressed that against budget cuts announced by the Federal Government, the State and Municipal governments will have to evaluate and prioritize the works to be executed to do more with less, but without affecting social programs and public works.
Moreno Valley said that the works of hydraulic concrete paving and rerolling streets scheduled for this year, the commitments made by Mayor Tony Gali be met.
The president stressed that the works in the municipality symbolize personal relationship and friendship, but mostly keeps working with Mayor Tony Gali, because there is no better formula to add the talent and resources of both orders to transform Puebla .
He added that one of the historical strengths of Puebla was the family unit and the preservation of civic values; therefore, a priority for state and municipal administrations is to create optimal spaces for coexistence and development of recreational activities in a climate of tranquility.
The executive said that in the next few weeks the City Council and the State Government formally announced folder works on roads, so he asked the patience and cooperation of citizens.
Mayor Tony Gali recalled that during 2014 more than 119 million pesos in the rehabilitation of primary and secondary avenues, a figure that will double this year with more than 400 million was invested.
The Mayor reiterated that the ongoing collaboration between different levels of government is essential to achieve the comprehensive development of the city.
Cabalán Macari, Minister of Infrastructure in the state, explained that the hydraulic concrete paving the periphery of the Ecological Park 2.8 miles of streets 30 north-south, 35 east and Juan de Palafox y Mendoza intervened.
He stressed that in the capital a traffic problem is inherited as the track was in serious condition deteriorating, so determined to invest more in best materials and develop relaminaciones to give a convincing solution.
The federal deputy for the twelfth district, Néstor Gordillo, said it is possible to achieve effective action and intervention of roads and dignity of parks, if you work as a team. It also recognized the efforts of Governor Rafael Moreno Valle, Mayor Tony Gali and head of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Cabalán Macari, in the execution of works of high social impact.
The event was also attended by Francisco Zúñiga, Minister of Infrastructure and Public Services in town and Councilman Angel Trauwitz, Chairman of the Committee on Heritage and Public Finance at the town hall.
