In an interview with Conaculta, Alma Patricia Alvarado Navarrete, Director of Culture and Handicrafts Promotion of Metepec, I explained that the construction of the theater due to actions to strengthen the municipality of Metepec Pueblo Magico, Land of the Tree of Life, named so two years ago by the Ministry of Tourism.
He said Metepec is a municipality where the pottery tradition by over 300 families of artisans has given him fame through the work of the tree of life, which makes it a tourist town, where for 24 years the International Festival takes place art and Culture Chimera.
«Metepec did not have a proper or adequate space for artistic and cultural activities, some public demanded us a space.
